Meet the
doyles!
Sean Doyle
Sean served his apprenticeship as a joiner with local Carlow company Phelan Construction. He has been involved in Doyles Tarmacadam for 30 years along side his Brother Alan and Father Seamus.
He has worked on developing and building up the family business and its reputation. Sean is the first point of contact, meeting with customers on a daily basis to discuss what they want to achieve. He strives to ensure all customers are happy with the work being carried out, and the finished job.
Alan Doyle
Alan served his time with the Irish Air Corp as an aircraft mechanic before getting involved in the family business. He has also been involved in the business for 30 years alongside his Father and Brother, and has helped to develop and build the business to what it is today.
Alan personally manages the day-to-day running of the business, ensuring all ongoing work, and the finished project, is carried out to the Doyles Tarmacadam high standard of quality.
Shauna Doyle
Shauna worked in the Beauty Industry for many years before becoming involved in the family business. She made the career change when she returned home from globetrotting for a few years.
Shauna is involved in all aspects of the business as she strives to soon be in a management role. She has trained with Dan Morrissey's as a paving machine driver, and also has her HGV license.

From the first day of meeting Sean to give us a quote we were confident we had picked the right company to do the job. ... Sean arrived to price the job within a day of us contacting him and we agreed that it would be completed 10 weeks later as we had other work to complete around the house first. Doyle’s are the first supplier throughout our house renovation to show up exactly when they said they would. Exactly on the week we agreed Sean’s team arrived to start preparing the groundwork. We had added on some extras but nothing was ever an issue. We had previously had tarmac laid 20 years ago from another supplier which was a complete disaster leaving our house inaccessible to some vehicles but Sean and his crew corrected all the issues to perfection.
